Our help is unconditional, confidential and free

What we do
We provide specialist psychological support to help children and young people with genetic eye disease manage their mental health and eye conditions in everyday life.

Our clinical psychologists work one-to-one with children, young people, parents and carers, with contact with schools or other services as required.
THE CLIENT JOURNEY
Why we do it
We know from personal experience the impact sight loss and visual impairment has on children, young people and their families.

We understand the importance of obtaining specialist help in improving mental health and life chances.

We use the results to inform our other projects including research, teaching, and liaison with other organisations such as the RNIB and Guide Dogs for the Blind Association.

How you can help

Sight loss is devastating to children as it is very hard for them to cope with the prospect of progressive and often aggressive visual deterioration.

Our work is not funded by any other charity or government body, it is not commissioned or funded by the NHS, so your generous donations help to ensure as many children as possible have access to our services.
